The canton of Toulouse-8 is a French canton in the arrondissement of Toulouse in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region ; its main town is Toulouse , Alain Fillola ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2001 (re-elected in 2008 ).

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton consisted of the ten municipalities of Balma , Beaupuy , Drémil-Lafage , Flourens , Mondouzil , Mons , Montrabé , Pin-Balma , Quint-Fonsegrives and Toulouse . It had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 3143.
