Launaguet is a French commune with 8,880 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Toulouse-8 . The inhabitants are called Launaguettois (es) .

geography

Launaguet is a northern banlieue of Toulouse through which the Hers-Mort flows. Launaguet is surrounded by the neighboring communities Castelginest in the north, Saint-Loup-Cammas in the northeast, Saint-Geniès-Bellevue in the east, L'Union in the southeast, Toulouse in the south and southwest, Aucamville in the west and Fonbeauzard in the northwest.
