Daux ( Occitan : Daus ) is a French commune with 2,361 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Léguevin (until 2015: Canton Grenade ). The inhabitants are called Dauxéens .

geography

Daux is about 23 kilometers northwest of Toulouse . Daux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Merville in the north and northeast, Aussonne in the east, Mondonville in the south and southeast and Montaigut-sur-Save in the west.

The national route 224 runs through the municipality .
