Mons is a French commune with 1,780 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Toulouse-10 (until 2015: canton of Toulouse-8 ). The inhabitants are called monsois .

geography

Mons is about ten kilometers east of Toulouse . Mons is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mondouzil in the north, Lavalette in the north and northeast, Drémil-Lafage in the east and southeast, Flourens in the south and southwest and Pin-Balma in the west.
