Villariès ( Occitan Vilariès ) is a French commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Pechbonnieu (until 2015: Canton Fronton ). The 792 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Villariesois .
geography
Villariès is located about 16 kilometers north-northeast of Toulouse . The Girou crosses the southern part of the municipality. Villariès is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vacquiers in the north and north-west, Montjoire in the north-east, Bazus in the east and south-east, Montberon in the south, Labastide-Saint-Sernin in the south-west and Gargas in the west.
