Saint-Alban is a French commune with 6150 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Castelginest . The inhabitants are called Saint-Albanais .

geography

Saint-Alban is a northern banlieue of Toulouse , the eastern municipal boundary of which is the Hers-Mort river . Saint-Alban is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bruguières in the north, Castelginest in the northeast and east, Fonbeauzard in the southeast, Aucamville in the south, Fenouillet in the west and southwest and Lespinasse in the northwest.

The A62 autoroute runs through the municipality .
