Lacroix-Falgarde is a municipality with 2,068 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in southern France in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Castanet-Tolosan . The inhabitants are called Crucifalgardia .

geography

Lacroix-Falgarde is located on the Ariège , about twelve kilometers south-southwest of Toulouse and belongs to the Sicoval municipal association, which was founded in 2001 . The Ariège is bridged with the Pont de Lacroix-Falgarde , the only bridge in the area after the steel truss bridge from 1903 was closed. Neighboring communities of Lacroix-Falgarde are Portet-sur-Garonne in the north and north-west, Vigoulet-Auzil in the north and north-east, Aureville in the east and south-east, Goyrans in the south and south-east and Pinsaguel in the west.
