Lévignac (also: Lévignac-sur-Save ; Occitan : Levinhac ) is a municipality with 2,113 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in southern France , in the Occitania region and in the Haute-Garonne department . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Toulouse and in the canton of Léguevin . The inhabitants are called Lévignacais (es) .
geography
Lévignac is located about 21 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse on the Save . Lévignac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Menville in the north, Saint-Paul-sur-Save in the northeast, Montaigut-sur-Save in the east and northeast, Pibrac in the southeast, Lasserre-Pradère in the south and southwest and Le Castéra in the west and northwest.
The national route 224 and the Itinéraire à Grand Gabarit run through the municipality .
