Deyme ( Occitan : Dèime ) is a French commune with 1,192 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Escalquens . The inhabitants are called Deymois .

geography

Deyme is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of Toulouse on the Canal du Midi in the Lauragais countryside . Deyme is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pompertuzat in the north and west, Belberaud in the northeast, Montlaur in the east, Donneville in the south and southeast, Montbrun-Lauragais in the south and Corronsac in the southwest.

The A61 autoroute and the national route 113 run through the municipality .
