Montaigut-sur-Save ( Occitan : Montagut de Sava ) is a French commune with 1,682 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Léguevin (until 2015: Canton Grenade ). The inhabitants are called Montaigutois .
geography
Montaigut-sur-Save is located about 25 kilometers northwest of Toulouse on the Save . Montaigut-sur-Save is surrounded by the neighboring communities Larra in the north, Merville in the north and north-east, Daux in the east, Brax in the south, Lévignac in the west and south-west and Saint-Paul-sur-Save in the west and north-west.
The national route 224 runs through the municipality .
