Layrac-sur-Tarn ( Lairac de Tarn in Occitan ) is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region of France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Villemur-sur-Tarn . The 322 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Layracois .
geography
Layrac-sur-Tarn is located about 23 kilometers north-northeast of Toulouse on the Tarn river , which forms the southwestern municipal boundary. Layrac-sur-Tarn is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Montvalen in the north and north-east, Mirepoix-sur-Tarn in the east and south-east, La Magdelaine-sur-Tarn in the south and south-east and Bondigoux in the west and north-west.
