Lavalette ( Occitan : La Valeta ) is a French municipality with 738 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Garonne (high-Garonne) in the Région Midi-Pyrenees . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Pechbonnieu (until 2015: Canton Verfeil ). The inhabitants are called Lavalettois .

Lavalette is located about twelve kilometers east-northeast of Toulouse am Sausse . Lavalette is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gragnague in the north, Saint-Marcel-Paulel in the northeast, Saint-Pierre in the east, Gauré in the southeast, Drémil-Lafage in the south, Mons in the southwest, Mondouzil in the west and Beaupuy in the west and northwest.
