Cépet ( Occitan Cepet ) is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region of France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Villemur-sur-Tarn (until 2015: Canton Fronton ). The 1,878 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Cépetois .

geography

Cépet is located about 16 kilometers north of Toulouse on the Girou . Cépet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc in the north, Gargas in the east and northeast, Labastide-Saint-Sernin in the east and southeast, Ridge Tour in the south, Bruguières in the west and southwest and Saint-Sauveur in the west and northwest.
