Mauressac ( identical in Occitan ) is a southern French municipality with 518 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive . The inhabitants are called Mauressacois .

location

Mauressac is about 31 kilometers south of Toulouse and about 17 kilometers southeast of Muret . Mauressac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puydaniel in the north and west, Auterive in the north-east, Grazac in the south and east and Esperce in the south-west. The river Mouillonne runs along the eastern border of the municipality .
