Saint-Clar-de-Rivière ( Occitan : Sent Clar de Ribèra ) is a French commune with 1,338 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). Saint-Clar-de-Rivière belongs to the Arrondissement of Muret and the Canton of Muret . The inhabitants are called Saint-Clarais .

Saint-Clar-de-Rivière is located in the historic province of Savès , about eight kilometers west of Muret . Saint-Clar-de-Rivière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Lys in the north, Lamasquère and Muret in the east, Labastidette in the east and south-east, Lherm in the south, Cambernard in the west and south-west and Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières in the north-west.
