Lherm ( Occitan : L'Èrm ) is a French commune with 3,678 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Cazères (until 2015: canton of Muret ). The inhabitants are called Lhermois .
geography
Lherm is located on the River Touch and the Canal de Saint-Martory , eleven kilometers southwest of Muret and is part of the Aire urbaine de Toulouse (extended urban area). The source of the Ousseau is located in the municipality . Lherm is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Clar-de-Rivière and Labastidette in the north, Muret in the north-east, Saint-Hilaire in the east, Lavernose-Lacasse in the south and south-east, Bérat in the south and south-west, Poucharramet in the west and south-west and Cambernad in the Northwest.
The Muret-Lherm airfield is located in the municipality.
