Labarthe-sur-Lèze ( Occitan : Le Barta de Lesat ) is a French commune with 6,178 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Labarthe-sur-Lèze belongs to the Arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Portet-sur-Garonne . The inhabitants are called Labarthais (es) .
geography
Labarthe-sur-Lèze is located on the west bank of the Lèze river , which flows into the Ariège here . Labarthe-sur-Lèze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pins-Justaret in the north and north-west, Goyrans in the north and north-east, Clermont-le-Fort in the east, Vernet in the south-west, Lagardelle-sur-Lèze in the south, Eaunes in the west and south-west as well Villate to the west.
The former Route nationale 20 runs through the municipality .
