Mondavezan is a French commune with 905 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in the historic county of Comminges . The inhabitants are called Mondavezanais .

Mondavezan is located on the Canal de Saint-Martory irrigation canal , 60 km south of Toulouse . The connection to the French road network is made by the A64 autoroute .

The place name is derived from the Latin Montis Avicenae ("bird mountain ").
