Saint-Élix-le-Château ( Occitan Sent Helitz deu Castèth ) is a French commune with 883 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department and the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the canton of Cazères (until 2015 Le Fousseret ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Élixois .

Saint-Élix-le-Château is located about 46 kilometers south-southwest of Toulouse . The Louge forms the north-western boundary of the municipality. Saint-Élix-le-Château is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marignac-Lasclares in the north and north-west, Lafitte-Vigordane in the north and north-east, Salles-sur-Garonne in the east, Saint-Julien-sur-Garonne in the south and south-east, Lavelanet- de-Comminges in the south and southwest and Le Fousseret in the west.
The A64 autoroute runs through the municipality .
