Beaufort ( Occitan : Bèuhòrt ) is a French commune with 462 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department and the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and is part of the canton of Cazères (previously Rieumes ). The inhabitants are called Beaufortais (es) .

geography

Beaufort is located about 35 kilometers southwest of Toulouse . Beaufort is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières in the north and east, Rieumes in the south, Montgras in the west and south-west and Sabonnères in the west.
