Esperce ( Occitan Espèrça ) is a French commune with 259 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Esperce belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive ( canton of Cintegabelle until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Esperçois (es) .

geography

Esperce is located about 37 kilometers south of Toulouse on the edge of the Lauragais . Esperce is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lagrâce-Dieu in the north, Puydaniel in the north and northeast, Mauressac in the northeast, Grazac in the east, Caujac in the east and southeast, Gaillac-Toulza in the south and southeast, Lézat-sur-Lèze in the west and Saint- Sulpice-sur-Lèze in the north-west.
