Peyssies is a French commune with 570 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Peyssies belongs to the Arrondissement Muret and the canton Auterive (until 2015 Carbonne ). The inhabitants are called Peyssissois .

geography

Peyssies is located about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Muret on the Louge , which borders the municipality in the north-west. Peyssies is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bois-de-la-Pierre in the north and north-west, Longages in the north-east, Carbonne in the east and south-east, Lafitte-Vigordane in the south and south-west and Gratens in the west.
