Monès ( identical in Occitan ) is a French commune with 96 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). Monès belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Cazères . The inhabitants are called Monèsiens .
geography
Monès is about 43 kilometers southwest of Toulouse . Monès is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Forgues in the north, Plagnole in the east, Le Pin-Murelet in the south and Laymont in the west.
