Capens is located about 13 kilometers south-southwest of Muret on the Garonne . Capens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Noé in the north, Montaut in the east and northeast, Marquefave in the south, Carbonne in the west and southwest and Longages in the west and northwest.

The A64 autoroute runs through the municipality .
