Saint-Thomas ( Occitan : Sent Tomàs ) is a French commune with 573 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Saint-Thomas belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Plaisance-du-Touch (until 2015: canton of Saint-Lys ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Thomasains .

geography

Saint-Thomas is located in the historic province of Savès , about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Toulouse and about 22 kilometers west-northwest of Muret . The Aussonnelle rises in the north of the municipality. Saint-Thomas is surrounded by the neighboring communities Empeaux and Auradé in the north, Bonrepos-sur-Aussonnelle in the northeast, Saiguède in the east, Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières in the southeast, Bragayrac in the south and Seysses-Savès in the west.
