The Mount Slaggard is a 4742  m high mountain in the Saint Elias Mountains in the Yukon Territory in Canada .

The mountain is located in the north of Kluane National Park . Mount Slaggard is surrounded by several higher mountains. The Mount Wood is located 7.74 km north-northeast of Mount Slaggard. Mount Steele rises 17 km to the southeast, and Mount Lucania just 18 km to the south-southeast . The northwest flank is drained towards the Anderson Glacier , the southeast flank is located in the catchment area of ​​the Chitina Glacier .

Ascent history

Barbara Lilley, Bud Bingham, Jon Shinno, Sy Ossofsky, Ray D'Arcy, George Wallerstein, Fred Martin and Bill Davis made the first ascent of the summit over the east ridge on August 11, 1959.
