The Mount Verstovia is a 1,010 m high mountain on Baranof Iceland in the Alexander Archipelago in southeastern Alaska .
The mountain rises 4 km east of Sitka . The Mount Verstovia Trail , a hiking trail leads to Picnic Rock , from where the summit can be reached via a 1.3 km path.
The mountain was named in 1809 by Iwan Filippowitsch Wassiljew (1776–1812), a Russian navigator. The original Russian name was Gora Verstovaja .
