The opera's world premiere took place on July 13, 2014 by the Young Opera of the Nationaltheater Mannheim . The target group is adults and children aged eight and over. The text by Ad de Bont was translated from Dutch into German by Barbara Buri . The musical directors of the production were Francesco Damiani and Lorenzo Di Toro. Directed by Daniel Pfluger . The stage was by Tessa-Veronika Janus, the costumes by Janine Werthmann and the lighting design by Christian Wurmbach. The dramaturge was Anselm Dalferth. The actors were Sebastian Brummer (Mozart), Astrid Kessler and Constanze Kirsch (Pamina / Konstanze), Ludovica Bello (Grand Duchess / Aloysia), Andreas Beinhauer / Nikola Diskić (Sebastian), Andreas Beinhauer (Sebastian), David Lee / Ziad Nehme / Christian Sturm (Grand Duke / Catherine the Great) and Birte Hebold (puppeteer).
