Muchawez ( Belarusian Мухавец / Muchawjez ) is a river in the Breszkaja Woblasz in Belarus , which flows into the bow at Brest as a right tributary .

The length is 112.6 km, the catchment area covers 6850 km². The average amount of water: 33.6 m³ / s. The Muchawez arises at the confluence of the Mucha River and the Vez Canal in Pruschany . The river runs in the Polesian countryside . The Muchavets has been canalized since the 19th century and is part of the Dnieper-Bug Canal .

The Mukhavets is part of the water link (63 km) between Bug and Pripyat . The ports on the river are Kobrin and Brest .
