geography

course

The Mudenbach rises at an altitude of about 310  m above sea level. NN north of Mudenbach in the corridor In der Neuwiese . It initially flows a good two hundred meters in a south-westerly direction and is then fed on its right by a second, somewhat longer source branch. The combined stream now flows in a south-south-west direction through the corridor Ober dem Weiher and then reaches the northeast edge of the village of Mudenbach. The stream runs along the eastern edge of the village. After crossing under the K 15 , it changes its course to the south-southeast, then crosses the Mühlenweg and then flows through the parcels of land in the lowest village meadow and In the Bornwiese . Its course is strongly straightened here. To the south-east of the corridor under the village , it is reinforced on the left by the forest break ditch . The Mudenbach now moves to the south-southwest, forms a small pond in the An der Kehr corridor , then passes under the L 265 and finally flows into the Im Bornrain corridor between Mudenbach and the Hanwerth district at an altitude of about 254  m above sea level. NN from the right into the Wied .
