Muhammad Ahmad Mahjub

Muhammad Ahmad Mahdschub (also Muhammad Ahmad Mahgoub ) (* 1908 in ad-Duwaim ; † June 23, 1976 in Khartoum ) was a politician, lawyer and writer. He was also the Prime Minister of Sudan .

Mahdschub was Sudan's Foreign Minister from July 1956 until the military coup in November 1958 . From 1964 to May 1965 he was again active as Foreign Minister. His first term as Prime Minister began on June 10, 1965 and lasted until July 25, 1966.

His second term was from May 18, 1967 and was ended by another military coup on May 25, 1969. From 1967 to 1968 he also served as Foreign Minister for the third time.

Mahdschub lived in London long after his political career , but later returned to Sudan and died of natural causes in his home in Khartoum.
