The Munizaga peak is 2,590 m high and unvereister mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises 5 km east-southeast of Misery Peak in the Roberts Massif .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the Chilean geologist Fernando S. Munizaga, who worked between 1968 and 1969 as part of the United States Antarctic Program surveyed Ellsworthland and surveyed Roberts Massif in the same campaign as part of the Texas Tech University crew.
