The Muqeet Mosque ( Urdu مسجد مقیت DMG Masǧid Muqīt ) is a mosque in Wabern in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse . It belongs to the mosque community of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (AMJ), which in 2008 had around 50 active members.

The foundation stone was laid on May 15, 2005. After about two years of construction, the mosque was opened on September 4, 2007 by Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth caliphate ul-Massih of the community.

The property on Trieschweg has a size of about 273 m², of which the mosque takes up an area of ​​about 142 m². The building has a nine-meter-high ornamental minaret and offers space for around 236 worshipers in two octagonal prayer rooms of 70 m² each.

The Muqeet Mosque is the first and so far only mosque in Germany and also in Europe that was built entirely from adobe . It was designed in collaboration with Gernot Minke , who is known for his projects with ecological buildings.
