Musa Ali Isah (born August 26, 2000 ) is a Bahraini sprinter who competes in both the 200-meter run and the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Musa Isah gained his first international experience at the Arab Junior Championships 2016 in Tlemcen , where he was victorious over 200 and 400 meters. He then reached the semi-finals over 400 meters at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and was eliminated in the 200-meter run with 21.53 s in the lead. The following year he won the Bahraini 4 x 100 meter relay in 39.55 s and took fourth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku . He then made it to the semi-finals at the Youth World Championships in Nairobi over 400 meters, in which he was eliminated with 48.43 s, as well as at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 2018 . At the end of August, he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he finished fifth in the men's relay in 3: 03.97 min. In 2019 he won the Asian Championships in Doha with the mixed relay in 3: 15.75 minutes. At the end of September he took part in the mixed relay at the World Championships there and won the bronze medal behind the teams from the United States and Jamaica in a new Asian record of 3: 11.82 minutes. He then won the military world games in Wuhan in 3: 06.20 min with the men's relay and won the bronze medal in the individual competition in 46.70 s behind his compatriot Abubakar Abbas and Mazen al-Yasen from Saudi Arabia.
