As Museum Winnweiler - Jewish Museum of Nordpfalz one is Museum of the municipality Winnweiler called, has four priorities.

The main focus of the museum is the history of Judaism in the Northern Palatinate , making it one of two Jewish museums in the Northern Palatinate, the other being the Jewish Museum in Steinbach am Glan . The other three focal points are local history of the region, the work and importance of the Gienanth family for iron processing in the Winnweiler area, and the Wartenberg painter Ludwig Götz.
