The ZKM | Museum für Neue Kunst is an art museum within the ZKM complex in Karlsruhe .

On 7,000 m² of exhibition space, the museum shows works from the private collections FER (behind the abbreviation is the collector Friedrich Erwin Rentschler ), Anna and Dieter Grässlin and Siegfried Weishaupt , the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, the Vaf-Stiftung / MART and the Christian Boros collection (Wuppertal) together with exhibits from the holdings of the ZKM collection and other cooperating collections.

In 1999 the museum was opened as an independent collector's museum and was headed by Götz Adriani until 2004 . In 2004 it was integrated into the ZKM. Gregor Jansen headed the museum from 2005 to 2010 . His successor was the art historian Andreas Beitin , who was already the curator of this museum.
