Musica Alta Ripa

Musica Alta Ripa is a German music ensemble from the field of early music .

The formation was founded in 1984. Members are Danya Segal, recorder , Anne Röhrig and Ursula Bundies ( violin ), Albert Brüggen ( cello ) and Bernward Lohr ( harpsichord ). Appearances took place u. a. at the Bach Festival in Leipzig, at the Flanders Festival in Bruges, at the Days of Early Music in Herne as well as at the International Summer Academy for Early Music of the Casa de Mateus Foundation in Portugal and the International Handel Festival in Göttingen . The ensemble has performed in Milan, London, Bogotá, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Some of his more than 20 recordings have been awarded the Diapason d'or , ECHO Klassik (2013) and Cannes Classical Award. In 2002 the ensemble received the Lower Saxony Music Prize .
