The piece Thomas Wenner is dedicated to the Bochum Police President of the same name . The song Vegane Pampe takes a critical look at veganism .

As usual, the album contains a few cover versions:

  • You want to kiss me , a "special version" of the doctors song of the same name for the tribute album Götterdämmerung
  • It's never too late ( Gilbert Bécaud , in the original T'es venu de loin )
  • Too full for traffic , German version of Too Drunk to Fuck ( Dead Kennedys )
  • Wolfgang Glück , originally Gustav Glück von den Marionetz , for the tribute album Mia san ned Marionetz

In return, some songs on the cashier tribute album Kunst were covered by other bands, including Mongo with the bongo by the local heroes and Life is a glove by Sondaschule .

reception

“Track lists say more than a thousand words. Sometimes. And advertising inserts anyway. So please buy, listen, shake your head. Before the relevant federal inspection agency does. "(Marc Schellenberg, Ox-Fanzine # 37)

The song Cauliflower am Pillemann has quickly developed into a classic, with which the band also appeared in the 2013 program Circus HalliGalli .
