Music award from the Association of German Concert Directors
The Music Prize of the Association of German Concert Directors was awarded in 2005 by the Association of German Concert Directors. V. (VDKD), the magazine Musikmarkt was won as co-sponsor and media partner.

This German music award is not only intended to honor “outstanding artistic achievements in the field of German musical life”, but also to promote “young musicians or ensembles or bands that contribute to the development of an innovative, high-quality and diverse musical life in Germany” become.
The award is given annually, alternately to artists from the field of so-called light and serious music . It is endowed with 10,000 euros.
