Mustafa Kamil Abitoğlu (born June 15, 1970 in Alanya ) is a former Turkish football referee .

Soccer

He made his debut in the Süper Lig on April 2, 2006 when Konyaspor played against Kayserispor (final score 1-0).

After the end of the 2014/15 season, he ended his active career. When he last met on May 30, 2015, he was in charge of the game between Çaykur Rizespor and Galatasaray Istanbul .

Private

Abitoğlu went to an Imam Hatip school in his youth . In 1987 he studied finance at Uludağ University in Bursa and graduated in 1991. A year later, he completed his military service in Bitlis .

He is related to the Turkish football referee Kuddusi Müftüoğlu . The cousins ​​took their referee examination in the same course in Antalya . During his training as a referee, Abitoğlu still actively played football. After completing his military service, he stopped his refereeing for a year in order to play himself.
