Building description

Interior of the church

The broad building with a gable roof and tower was built in 1948 according to the plans of the architect Walter Reisch and was consecrated in 1948 and elevated to a parish church in 1950. The church building stands out due to its rural character with all-over wooden cladding of the hall and a wooden porch. The glass windows with scenes from the life of Mary and the choir wall window God the Father are by Lucia Jirgal . Above a wooden canteen is a reredos wall with evangelist reliefs and a crucifixion group by Gret Einberger from 1950, as well as the reredos altar with carvings in the chapel, which is located in the basement of the tower. The organ was built by Dreher and Reinisch (1950).

On September 1, 2017, the parish was dissolved and the area assigned to the parish to all saints . The Church of Our Lady has since been a branch church of the parish to all saints and the church of the parish of Our Lady in Augarten.
