The monastery church of the Brothers of Mercy can be seen at Taborstraße 16 with a narrow three-axis facade with a Tuscan pilaster structure . The facade has three-story windows and a two-story facade tower with Ionic and Corinthian pilasters and lateral volutes from the end of the 17th century adjoins the cornice. The spire was reconstructed in 1989. In the lintel of the central portal is a putti relief, in the gable a cartouche with the order's coat of arms, above is a high gallery window with a tubular frame and a keel arch roofing and wrought iron grille from the 18th century. In the basement of the tower in a framed niche is a stone figure of St. John the Baptist from the 18th century. Next to the portal is a memorial plaque to Joseph Haydn from 1932.

The three-bay nave with square side chapels and the two-bay choir that just ends are from the end of the 17th century. The choir was lengthened in 1733 and stuccoed uniformly in 1736. The high altar from 1735/36 fills the entire altar wall and bears figures of Saints Joachim, Zacharias, Elisabeth and Anna by Lorenzo Mattielli , the altarpiece Baptism of Christ from 1736 by Daniel Gran .

In 1933, Johann M. Kauffmann built a new mechanism into the organ case by Johann Hencke from 1765 . In addition, the church has a bell from 1749 that was cast by Franz Ulrich Scheichel .
