Mychajliwka-Rubeschiwka ( Ukrainian Михайлівка-Рубежівка ; Russian Михайловка-Рубежовка Michailowka-Rubeschowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 3400 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in 1600, is located on the Butscha ( Буча ), a tributary of the Irpin and its tributary, the Myslin ( Мислін ) in the Kiev-Svyatoschyn district . Mychajliwka-Rubeschiwka borders in the east on the urban area of Irpin and in the north on the urban-type Worsel settlement . Mychajliwka-Rubeschiwka is the administrative center of the 28.2 km² district council of the same name, to which the village of Sabuchchja ( Забуччя ) with about 270 inhabitants belongs.
A statue of the sculptor Borys Krylov by Petro Mohyla , who was metropolitan of Kiev, Galicia and all of Russia since 1633 , has been in the place since 2008 .
