Mykola Hordijchuk
Mykola Volodymyrowytsch Hordijtschuk ( Ukrainian Микола Володимирович Гордійчук ; born February 5, 1983 in Magnitogorsk , Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian weightlifter .
Career
Hordijtschuk reached fifth place in the duel at the 2004 European Championships in the class up to 105 kg and won gold in the snatch. He also took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where he was tenth. Because of a doping violation that year, he was banned until 2006. After his suspension, he won silver in the snatch at the 2007 European Championships , but he had no valid attempt in pushing. In 2009 he was ninth at the World Championships . At the 2010 European Championships he was sixth in a duel and won bronze in the snatch. At the world championships in the same year he was eleventh. In 2011 he won the silver medal at the Universiade .
