The Siddhartha Rajmarg ( Nepali सिद्धार्थ राजमार्ग ; English Siddhartha Highway ) is a trunk road in Nepal that connects the city of Siddharthanagar , located in the south on the Indian border, with the centrally located city of Pokhara .

The 188 km long interstate road was built between 1964 and 1971. It is named after the historical Buddha Siddhartha Gautama . It runs from Siddharthanagar, located in the central Terai of Nepal, in a northerly direction. The Mahendra Rajmarg crosses the trunk road in the town of Butwal . The Siddhartha Rajmarg crosses the Front Himalayas . He passes the city of Tansen . Between Waling and Putalibazar the highway follows the river valley of the Aadhi Khola .
