The BP Koirala Rajmarg ( Nepali बीपी राजमार्ग ; English B. P. Koirala Highway ) is a highway in Nepal that connects the city of Jaleshwar , located in the south on the Indian border, with the centrally located city of Dhulikhel , 30 km east of Kathmandu .
The BP Koirala Rajmarg is a 214 km long overland road that leads from the Indian border at Jaleshwar via Janakpur and Kamalamai to Dhulikhel, where it continues to Kathmandu in Araniko Rajmarg . In the Terai the Mahendra Rajmarg crosses the highway. The road then crosses the Front Himalayas and reaches the Sunkoshi river valley . It follows the Sunkoshi and later the Roshi Khola upstream to Kashikhanda . From there it is only a few kilometers north to Dhulikhel, where it ends at Araniko Rajmarg.
