Manthali ( Nepali मन्थली ) is a city in the Ramechhap district in Nepal .
Manthali lies on the left bank of the Tamakoshi at an altitude of 550 m . Manthali is the seat of the district administration. The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Bhatauli , Chisapani , Kathjor , Maluwajor , Manthali , Salupati and Sunarpani . The urban area covers 100.7 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs, which merged to form the city of Manthali, had 28,657 inhabitants (13,396 of them male) in 6,437 households.
