Ramechhap ( Nepali रामेछाप ) is a city in the Ramechhap district in Nepal .
The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Okhreni , Ramechhap and Sukajor . The urban area covers 93 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that merged to form the city of Ramechhap had 12,263 inhabitants (of which 5,656 male) in 2,651 households.
