Chireshwarnath ( Nepali छिरेश्वरनाथ Chhireshwarnath ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Dhanusha district .

The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Digambarpur , Hariharpur , Ramdaiya and Sakhuwa Mahendranagar . The urban area covers 56.59 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the town of Chireshwarnath emerged, had 43,745 inhabitants (22,397 of them male) in 7,925 households.
