Sabaila ( Nepali सवैला or Sabela ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Dhanusha district .

Sabaila is in the east of the district. The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Makhanaha , Sabaila , Satosar and Thilla Yaduwa . The urban area covers 100.7 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Sabaila emerged had 24,896 inhabitants (12,051 male) in 4830 households.
